Hi Marco! Please tell us something about you. When have you started
skiing? What are your reasons joining competitions?
Hi everyone my name is Marco Eydallin im 23 years old and I live in
Sauze d'oulx, a small village in the west alps of Italy. I started
skiing when I was 4. I ski raced till the age of 18 and then I started
freestyle skiing. I like competitions because everytime you push your
limits and everytime u learn something new.
Winter is knocking at the door. Are you already skiing? Where?
Yeah can't wait for the first snow to fall. I haven’t been skiing yet, I
spent the last month training on the water ramps in mettmenstetten
working on some new tricks. I'll go skiing in a few days in Shnalstal
for the opening and then Hintertux. Can't wait!
Together with Paolo Martinoglio and Federico de Albertis you started a
project called freeskicamp.it. Please tell us something about that...
Freeskicamp is a project that started last summer in Les Deux Alpes. Me,
Paolo and Fette were ski instructors so we thought it was a nice idea
to teach freestyle skiing instead of normal skiing. Much more fun and we
have also the oppurtinity to train at the same time! This is project is
sponsored by nordica that gives us a huge hand! It's getting bigger and
bigger…..

Have you planned further projects for the future or will you be more
concentrated on competitions?
This winter I will coach for freeskicamp. We have planned 4 weeks during
the winter in 4 different locations in Italy. Apart from coachin I'll
be competing a little bit but main goal of this season is to have a nice
video part with FUNCOOL - an Italian skimovie production.
We're here at the freestyle ch. What are your impressions?
Freestyle.ch is just incredible. Best riders, best crowd, best parties.
It's just the best city competion in the world. Hands down Zurich!
